Day 1 - London Collections: Men AW17 E. Tautz

The Collection 
For his latest collection, Patrick Grant, Creative Director of E.tautz, drew inspiration from Peter Mitchell’s ‘Some Thing Means Everything to Somebody’ photography series, which featured images of scarecrows isolated in fields across the UK.

The collection captured the loose and disheveled nature of these scare-crow images, featuring baggy trousers and loose fitting shirts.
 
The Hair 
Using the 'scare-crow concept' as a springboard, Kevin Luchmun, International Artistic Director and the label.m Session Team styled soft and bouncy waves that had plenty of volume and natural texture. As the models' took the catwalk, they were seen with hair that had seemingly been rained on and blown in the wind.
 
Get the Look/Step by Step:

Step 1: Work label.men Thickening Tonic throughout the hair.

Step 2: Diffuse with the label.m Magic Diffuser and work the hair upwards to create natural movement and volume.

Step 3: Set hair with a blast of cold air using the label.m Tourmaline Dryer

Step 4: Apply label.men Grooming Cream to create structure, scrunch within the hair to incorporate natural texture. Blast through with cold air again to set.
